It seems i can get the mc record correct in solutedns.
I have: <domain> mail.<domain> 10
this prints out: yourdomain.com mail. 10
as you can see it is missing the domain after mail.
Is this correct or am i doing something wrong here or is there a bug?

Thank you for your post, I have checked this behavior and suppose you are applying the template from the admin?
I did not found this problem when a zone was created automatically during an order.
When applying a template from the admin I can confirm this is not adding the domain in the content field. I have made a bug report for this and will provide you shortly with a hot patch.
