According to RFC 7208 from April 2014 RR types was not widely deployed in DNS servers and provisioning systems. As a result, developers of SPF found it easier and more practical to use the TXT RR type for SPF records.

So you should only use TXT records as SPF record.

You can use the mutation tool of SoluteDNS to either remove the SRV records from your zones if a TXT SPF is already in place or change the record type to TXT if a TXT record wasn’t in place yet. Be careful as you do not want to remove both records.
